Ecological crops located throughout the Iberian Peninsula and the Canary Islands, to obtain fresh leaves year-round. Taking advantage of the biological properties of the soil to produce high-quality leaves with a low aloin content.
The harvesting is done by hand, selecting each leaf at its optimal maturity level.
The leaves undergo a packaging process designed to prevent damage during transportation and to gradually remove aloin from the leaves.
Modern plant material sanitization system that removes aloin.
The internal gel of the Aloe vera leaf is extracted manually and through an exclusive process that controls aloin levels.
Through a validated process, any possible remaining traces of aloin are removed, and the product is then cold-stabilized and aseptically packaged. This results in a product of the highest quality.
The Quality Control Department at Veracetics, composed of chemists and biologists, analyzes all production batches before they are released. This includes performing physical-chemical and microbiological analyses of the product. With the new regulations on Hydroxyanthracene Derivatives (DHAs), the Quality Department at Veracetics has designed and validated a method for analyzing these compounds, allowing the detection of aloin at ppb (parts per billion) levels. This ensures that the released aloin batches comply with the new European regulations for these compounds.
